Following the Battle of the Borough, the tournament’s finest players were selected to represent their city on Team NYC. Along with the honor came obligation — and opportunity. The all-star team, coached by Kimani Young, traveled to Turkey to play against the Under 19 National Team, Efes Pilsen. They did the Big Apple proud, winning the game TKTKSCORETKTK. The New York City athletes had the chance to learn from best, too: while in Turkey, they shadowed the US national team who played in the World Basketball Championships.
