It’s tough to find anyone who embodies Harlem hoops more than the team’s coach, Mousey, but the team’s assistant comes close: in the Battle of Boroughs, the squad was joined by God Shamgod, the ball-handing wizard and streetball legend who took his talents to the top levels of pro basketball. Despite the expert assistance and a big afternoon from Sidiki Johnson (14 points and 15 rebounds), Harlem was felled in the first round by the eventual champs from Queens.
